I've been kind of MIA lately, as is the case for most of us that are suffering from a winter blues hangover. Since distance truly does make the heart grow fonder, I'm pretty excited to catch up with everyone at Harpoon this weekend.

I am soooo excited to watch the Celtics in Q-Town tonight! Two words: Little Duck!

There's some major stuff going down in my work world right now. I can't really go into details but it's all going to work out very well (and may involve some warmer weather!) for pahkcah02.

So my on-again/off-again relationship with online dating is back on again. I had a date on Friday night with a guy whom I had zero in common with but that's ok. Depite the fact that I won't be seeing him again, spending an hour of a Friday night having a scotch with a new person isn't the worst thing in the world.

Kennedy Carpet came down yesterday to steam clean the merlot stains, dirt, and paint out of my carpets. They look fantastic - definitely a wise investment.

I'm not much of a Clinton supporter, but I'm excited that she's on the road to clinching the nomination. I'm sure that Barack Obama is a fine fellow but with this country going into a recession, inefficient health care, a bankrupt social security system, etc, this country needs experienced leadership now more than ever. The promise of hope may be uplifting, but as my old sales manager used to say, "hope is not a strategy".

Of course that doesn't mean that I'm voting Democrat or anything.....

Today's high: 55F degrees and rainy. Rainy days may be dreary but I'll take the warm temps anyday. On a positive note, at least one doesn't have to put on their boots and shovel rain.
